UUID Generator

Generate RFC-4122 v4 UUIDs using your browser’s secure random source. Copy one or the whole batch.

    Frequently asked questions

    What is a UUID?

A Universally Unique Identifier — a 128-bit value used to label things without a central registry. Version 4 uses random bits, so collisions are astronomically unlikely.

    Are these UUIDs truly random?

Yes. They are generated with the browser’s Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues), which is seeded from a secure source.

    Is anything uploaded?

No. Generation happens entirely in your browser.
